Water Infrastructure and Privatization
Water Infrastructure and Privatisation Practice Group (“WIP PG”) offers a wide range of legal services related to transactions in water industry. Our WIP PG actively represents numerous multinational water companies in cooperation with local partners and/or Regional State-Owned Water Company (PDAM) to develop water infrastructure projects. With a deep understanding of the intersection between legal aspects and commercial interests, we provide comprehensive legal solutions tailored to the needs of our clients.
Portfolio of our WIP PG includes various strategic initiatives, such as the privatization of water utilities, which involves complex dealings with: (i) BOT (Built, Operate & Transfer) models, O&M (Operation & Maintenance) agreements, and other contractual intricacies, as well as (ii) multifaceted issues related concession rights in water industry. Additionally, we also specialize in facilitating and structuring the establishment of Foreign Investment Companies (PMAs) within the water sector, as well as pioneering initiatives such as the establishment of Private Water Regulatory Authorities at provincial levels.
